(repost of something I wrote from another thread but as a post:) Just adding to the pile, but having magma as an app as well as the site would be great. A mobile/pc app could support: 1: More storage. Files could work like adobe's cloud does. Art jams and online files could be linked to the main servers, and offline files could be stored in the local device's storage. It also reduces the risk of losing files permanently if an accident were to ever happen. Also, maybe unlimited undos could be an option? 2: Less lag and reloading. 3: More room for features, gui-wise and storage-wise. There could be more room for heavily requested features like fbf animation, speedpaint recordings, and many more. 4: Device compatibility Only some browsers are able to support Magma. Some people may not have the best supporting browsers, or may be unable to use them. By making Magma not just a website but an app, it wouldn't have to rely on those dependencies. Instead, it would rely more on the device's specs. If a device's specs are bad, there could be an in-app option to reduce certain features per the users' decision for optimization. Another option is also to use the website on a good browser if they're able. I love this site and what your team does and I'll always keep on using it, though if y'all ever decide to make an app version available, these are some things I think would be benefits. And probably solve a lot of lag-related bug issues people report.
