Update: so I updated IPadOS again in its newest beta and fixed the stabilizer issue. So it seemed to have been an issue on Apple’s side

Same here. Unusable on iPad Pro with any level of stabilisation, freezes the app altogether :(

Augusto Jacquier: Would you be able to record a video of it happening along with your settings? We tested it on iPad Pro and couldn't replicate.
Augusto Jacquier
Damian Kaczmarek sure thing, video below Damian:
iPad Pro 12.9inch 5th Gen - iPadOS 26.2

Augusto Jacquier: Thanks for sharing. We just tried exactly the same scenario on two different iPad devices - mine is 12.9 Pro - and couldn't reproduce. Although I am still on iOS 26.0.1. Will try to upgrade to reproduce. The breaking thing could be iOS 26.2 .. or possibly some other setting which we aren't trying.

Damian Kaczmarek Appreciate the prompt response. Might be an iPadOS issue, the only setting that seems to make it die is stabilisation. Keen to know if the newer OS version makes any difference, keep us posted!

Augusto JacquierI just tested on latest iPadOS 26.2 beta 4 (23C5044b) and it's working. Could you see if there is a newer beta you can install?
Augusto Jacquier
Damian Kaczmarek actually just realised I'm running it off a browser bookmark, so it's basically the web version that's causing that issue. Is there an official iPad app I can install?
Damian Kaczmarek
Augusto Jacquier you're running it correctly - web is the only version for now. We're working on an iOS app but it will be a web app wrapper with some native notifications and better pen support. We can add you to test flight (beta access) once it's ready to show to a limited audience

Damian Kaczmarek Would love that! As for iPadOS beta, I can't really risk running beta versions as I use the iPad for work, and I've had issues in the past with unstable versions :(
Damian Kaczmarek
Augusto Jacquier: I think you can un-enroll from iPadOS beta but it will only apply once the stable version catches up with the beta.
Augusto Jacquier
Damian Kaczmarek Just a quick update on this: problem isn't there in iPadOS beta -just installed it. Meaning it might be an issue just with the stable release..?
Damian Kaczmarek
Augusto Jacquier: or simply restarting your device helped?
Augusto Jacquier
Damian Kaczmarek nah, had already done that to no effect

Does this happen every time you use stabilizer?
J.Drawsstuff
Yes, since earlier this week.

J.Drawsstuff: Also are you on iOS 26.2 by any chance?
J.Drawsstuff
Damian Kaczmarek
J.Drawsstuff: We suspect the issue may be caused by this beta release of iPadOS. :-( I understand it's not possible to easily downgrade.
J.Drawsstuff
Damian Kaczmarek so i have to wait for a non-beta update? You tried it on 26.2 without beta?
Damian Kaczmarek
J.Drawsstuff just tested on versions ranging from 26.0.0 till latest iPadOS 26.2 beta 4 (23C5044b) and it's working. Could you see if there is a newer beta you can install?
J.Drawsstuff
Damian Kaczmarek im in the latest beta as of writing

The strangest thing about this is that it feels like a magma-exclusive bug. I have not noticed this issue on other places like Whiteboardfox, or Procreate.
