Drawings only showing up blank

At first, the board showed the drawing on the thumbnail, and then I opened it, and it became blank. I did this with one other, and i noticed the thumbnails became blank too. everything from the opacity of the layers and the type of layer is there, but the drawings just disappeared. Are my drawings lost now? How do I fix this?

ive experienced this recently and i dont know if its the exact same but usually if i close and reopen my browser then it fixes like it was just a visual bug. if its the same issue then try that !!

yea started encountering similar issues recently :( some of my old magma stuff is just, blank. I have the layers named and such so i know art was on there but its not anymore. Sometimes its on the thumbnail but not on the rest of the art. I genuinely dont know what to do and im scared i lost it.

Literally came here to look and see if anyone is having problems with this, I went to some old canvases of mine from just 2024 to take pictures and when I entered the canvas the color layer was completely gone but the lineart and overlays are still there. All the layers for the colors and even the ones with altered opacity are there but they’re completely blank. 💔
Thankfully I saved the things I need photos of prior, but this has just got me worried about my other canvases I haven’t saved anything of yet and I’m scared to open them, so I’m just downloading them. 😭

I am having this issue too. I am so worried. My girlfriend and I have used this website almost every day the past two years, we practically rely on it. The thumbnails show up as normal, then you click on it, and the drawing becomes blank. When you click off of the drawing the thumbnail becomes blank as well. The version history does nothing, and only shows a blank canvas. This is horrible, please help.

That's exactly what's happening to me! I was looking into the version history and found that Magma automatically deletes past versions, so I wonder if that has something to do with it, because for me, it's with things I haven't opened in 1+ months
