Color Deletion
Random peep with a pencil
Basically, how I’d envision it is that you have a specific layer then you can choose a certain color to delete. Like an option to get rid of the background color, “white”. Because although I’m an artist, I typically create character designs and use bases to do them for simplicity; sometimes I have white behind the base and need to easily delete it by just doing one color :D hope I gave enough details and I also hope it’d be possible to do. Thank you!

Random peep with a pencil this is definitely an important workflow that we'd like to support in Magma. We're planning both:
- having a magic wand tool
- allow selecting pixel by color range
Reason for having selection by color range as a separate tool is that in some cases (color scatterred all around the image, or smooth transitions) it would be very problematic to use magic wand.
I'm going to merge this into "select-by color tool" post which we already have in this board

Wojtek Jodel: Alrighty, I’m glad you are still taking these/this idea(s) into consideration! I know it will help my workflow and I bet I can say the same for other artists :DD

Hi. Are you referring to the normal white background of a new canvas?
If so, you can set this to transparent in your drawing settings under the file menu.
If you are talking about colour on a flattened layer, I assume you mean having a tool similar to the magic wand selection in programs like Photoshop?

Ryan: I am more referring to the magic wand tool in Photoshop, and Krita :]

atrooooooooo
Wojtek Jodel: Adding onto this-- the ability to select by color gamut for the whole layer (Select color gamut feature from CSP) would be a gamechanger as well.
