The single-finger long-press duration is just a touch too long when compared with mobile apps like Procreate or Infinite Painter. I think adjusting it to about 75% of the current duration should do the trick.

Would also be helpful to be track the finger in long-press to be able to drag the eyedropper over more accurately to the intended color.
