Offline Mode

You can draw offline, without internet, BUT, you need to save your drawing in file, since auto save is hard to make when offline. If you refresh, obviously, you will have a screen asking you to connect to the internet, but you can leave the tab on, a notification will tell you "You're currently on offline mode, learn more" You can make new canvases, but you will appear offline, you cannot join others, they cannot join you, so you're basically.. alone when offline. But, hey! You can still draw!

Put an extra option when creating canvas that says "offline canvas" (or something similar) to make the canvas only available on the device the canvas was drawn in, this can help people with poor WiFi.

it would be cool if you guys added an offline mode switch for people like me when the power/internet is usually funky, and it would be wonderful for people who travel with chromebooks and other devices when you can just shut the lid and it doesn't (usually) turn off.

Magma is a website and you would need internet to open up the internet in the first place, as the previous commentor said, but there is an application! I have not have any experience with it, so I don't know if it will solve your problem. If it does, update me on it please! To download the app, you can get it from the magma website itself or on the app store. For computers, the download button can be found in the search bar on the far right. It should be next to your bookmark button (the star) and it looks like a computer screen with a down arrow.

This one would be a little hard though considering magma is a website itself, which needs Internet/lot of data to run, they'd have to make an app (if they don't already have one?), no?

you would be able to draw on the canvas and have it all save, though maybe to local/device storage instead of to the account since it's offline? though it'd be nice if the drawing/canvas data was saved to our accounts once we've reconnected to the internet though !!
it would also make it easier for users who primarily use magma as a program just for themselves (like me lol), not necessarily for collaboration, and that might be without internet access at times, like when traveling!

Oh. My. God. YES. It is SO FRUSTRATING when I have to KILL MY PHONE ON THE BUS HOME bc I'm trying to use magma and run it off of my goofy ahh hotspot that never f***ing works anyways...

this but also for chromebook! please this is the only reason why i use magma because its browser based! so if your making an offline app can you make it compatible with chomebook

Integrate an offline mode with solo use, with an in-site downloadable link or play store application, for a no wifi single person use and the ability to translate files between the two
