Not distorting when rescaling with transform tool

I need an option that allow me to re-scale my selected area with the transform tool without destorting it. Maybe a box in the sidebar I can click that says “lock proportions” or something, so I can freely drag the corners of the selected area and it will only rescale the thing instead of dragging it long or wide because I can’t control my movement that precisely.

The other thing related to this would be specifically pixels retaining their pixelization when resized. I asked for this before

Hey Recca Rae! It's actually possible, although a bit hidden :) If you press "Shift" key on the keyboard, the transform will keep the original ratio when you rescale it.
That said, i do see many people has this issue, so we have to find a way to inform about this feature better. I'm going to keep it open for now, so that everyone who had issues with finding this feature could upvote it.

Wojtek Jodel: Thanks for the fast reply. Cool that it is possible, but I’m working on an ipad so I do not have a keyboard to do that.
It would be nice to have an alternative to the shift-key for tablet users. :)
