I understand the need for advertisements to support a project like this. But the way they are currently implemented has made it extremely hard to use the site at all. The animated advertisements cause noticeable input lag. Whenever the advertisement changes, it causes a spike of lag. Freezing all input for up to 5 seconds. Occasionally, an ad will fail to load and it freezes the entire webpage. Forcing me to refresh the page.

My biggest ask is to increase the timer between advertisements. The constant spikes of input lag are incredibly disruptive. And the constant lag, as well as distraction, from animated advertisements make it hard to use the site at all.
