I really want to chat personally with my friend on Magma when they're active, but the only thing I could do is say 'hi' in one of their posts/galleries and send a drawing so they could draw with me (it would help plz add it)

A feature where you can direct message someone without being on a canvas, like the messages feature on Twitter/X so I can talk to people without drawing with them because I am trying to contact someone I follow that I met a long time ago who doesn't follow me and I don't know how to contact them because I can't go on the same drawing as them

If you and a person are following eachother you get the ability (like a button In the little drop then next to their name in the following list or a button next to the unfollow button on their page) to message them!

Chatting with like you add your friends or like art jams can have a personal chat outside of the chatbox, and just add links,vids, or call them irl so we can meet up or add video call too or sumthin
