ADS AND PLEASE GET RID OF THEM!

Hey uh, I don't know if the ads are supposed to be helping you with money and that's alright. Though, these ads are REALLY annoying. I loved this website just because magma would not do things like this and it just feels extremely unfair to be viewing ads while trying to draw (at least when the thing I'm trying to draw on is not an artjam). Again, I can see these being a way to make profit or something like that but ads just take up all the space. I don't know if you guys have finally made the decision to keep them but if you haven't, PLEASE GET RID OF THESE ADS (or at least keep them only in the artjams and not your own private magmas). Thank you!

The ads are taking up WAY too much space and make the app almost unusable- they're also very laggy on certain devices (it would probably kill my phone). I know you're trying to make money or whatever but this seriously ruins Magma

Okay so I came onto Magma this morning to draw, only to find that there’s now an ad below my drawing screen. It’s really annoying and distracting, and I think that Magma was perfectly fine without it. Please remove it.
P.S. I know that the thing says “invite 3 friends to get rid of ads!” I don’t have any friends that draw on magma. Please, I beg you, get rid of the ads.

i know it may be your source of income but it really bothers me and other people, the little space to draw is overstimulating atleast in my case.

CASUAL USHANKA thanks for the feedback. Can you please explain why you perceive ads differently in art jams vs private drawings? It would be helpful to know the difference, and how we can potentially make them as less invasive on the artistic workflow as possible

Wojtek Jodel I’m not the person you tagged, but I would like to say that I enjoy art jams more because you can have ads removed, so it’s less flashy and distracting from the art you’re trying to draw. :)

Wojtek Jodel I apologize if I was a little aggressive with my original post but I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to me. I was thinking that it was a little nonsensical for advertisements to run on private magma canvases (the ones that are not artjams). I felt like it would make a little more sense for advertisements to stay on artjams since that's where all the people. There isn't a big difference between the private canvases but I only felt like it would make sense for the advertisements to stay on the artjams and so advertisements are not as invasive on private canvas drawings. Besides that, I still dislike the advertisements for the same reasons as everyone else does and it feels like everyone else has the same view on advertisements as I. Again, I thank you for reaching out to me. I'm not sure if this clarifies anything but I appreciate you for listening. Have a good day/night!

Wojtek Jodel I'm not the original poser either but I was thinking maybe the team could figure out a system where you watch ads for like five minutes and then don't have them anymore for the rest of the day? Like an unlimited ad- free pass just for the day, and the next day you watch it again for another pass? I didn't want to make a whole forum on it but if you see this i think it would really help! Everyone wins.

I like this website because it is an ACTUAL free drawing app and not one that uses ads. I can say for certain that I will stop using this website and I don't think I'm the only one. Please don't trade your website's integrity for commercial profit.

Hi! Thanks for flagging, and I'm sorry that it's impacting your usability on the platform. Ads are currently something we're experimenting with as a new monetaisation scheme, where we'll focus on rolling out as many features for free instead of locking features behind Blaze. However, if it impacts usability, we'll need to revisit it.
To help, would you mind sending a screenshot of your interface with the ads on? Furthermore, may you let me know what device you currently use?
