There is already a line tool, so you can just make a line, then rotate it. Its a bit annoying, but it works /:

although we can kinda already do this by clicking/drawing a dot where we want an endpoint to go (with a regular brush) and then holding shift and clicking again, we lose the pen pressure. i agree with adding a ruler tool
